White Correa
An iconic feature in the planting palette of renowned landscape designer Fiona Brockhoff, correa alba responds beautifully to shaping and styling as a topiary feature or clipped hedge. Its tough, low maintenance characteristics make it a must have in any coastal, native or mixed planting as an evergreen structural component. Growing on sand dunes and cliffs in its native environment, no position is too challenging for this robust, easy-care shrub. Its dense habit provides habitat for small birds and wildlife and the starry white flowers produced in the cooler months from autumn to spring are a magnet for birds and bees. Every garden should have one!
How to grow
Full sun, part shade, preferring dappled sunlight. Needs a free draining soil, drought tolerant once established. Suitable for coastal, exposed and windy conditions. Trim regularly to keep compact. Ideal as a clipped hedged or topiary.
