Salvia 'Van Houttei'
A cultivar of Scarlet Sage, this tender perennial originates from Brazil, so is perfect for our sub-tropical climates. but also does well down south too. Flowers almost all year round in some areas.
How to grow
Plant in full sun or part shade in a fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly, especially in areas with hot, dry summers. Prune in late autumn to maintain a compact habit. Protect from frost. Deadhead regularly to extend flowering.
