Salvia nemorosa 'Blue Queen'
A compact variety of Salvia nemorosa, ‘Blue Queen’ produces low mounds of mauve-blue flowers, much adored by bees. Drought-tolerant once established, this floriferous salvia will reward you with flowers from mid-spring until mid-autumn.
How to grow
Dry-tolerant once established. Cut plants hard to the ground after the first flush ends in December to encourage a stronger autumn display. Deadhead regularly to promote additional flowering, and cut back hard in May when flowering ends. Full sun, free-draining soil.
