Artemisia ponticaRoman wormwood makes a very attractive shrub in the garden with its unique silvery fern like foliage. The stiff, upright stems spread by underground rhizomes to form a mini forest of aromatic foliage which makes for an excellent feature shrub in dry sunny places.

How to grow
Drought tolerant once established. Clump forming growth habit. Will grow well in coastal gardens. Grows well in most soil types, and will even do well in poor soils. Regular pruning encourages bushy growth. Cut to the base in autumn.
