Philippine Lily
Lilium philippinense is a willowy, super-star of the lilium world, renowned for its prolific and highly fragrant white trumpet flowers that extend the flowering season from late summer into autumn. A great choice for northern and sub-tropical gardens with its tolerance to humidity. Thriving in dappled sun under trees or in a morning sun position, it is an impressive highlight in the garden and an outstanding cut flower.
How to grow
Full sun/part shade in moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soil. Prefers rich organic loams and is best sited with the upper parts of the plant in full sun and the roots in shade. Cut back when flowering finishes.
