Knautia 'Mars Midget'
Add a splash of crimson to your summer garden with this compact form of Knautia. The grey foliage forms a neat mound at the front of borders and garden beds throughout the year, while the crimson flowers decorate the garden from summer into autumn. An excellent cut flower. Attractive to bees and beneficial pollinators.
How to grow
Plant in full sun in an enriched soil. Flowers best in alkaline soils. Mass plant for maximum impact. Drought tolerant once established. Remove spent flower heads to extend flowering, and prune lightly when flowering finishes.
