Plant in full sun, preferably in free-draining soil of moderate to low fertility but adaptable to a wide range of conditions. Extremely drought and heat tolerant, Euphorbias cope with coastal conditions and moderate frost. Occasional water over extended dry periods will improve plant performance. Prune off spent flower stalks and damaged foliage to ground level to allow for new growth once flowering ends. Always wear gloves and avoid the sap when cutting or handling to prevent irritation to the skin and eyes. Readily self-seeds.
