Epimedium x versicolor 'Sulphureum'

Epimedium x versicolor 'Sulphureum' is one of the older hybrids that was selected prior to 1849. It is one of the best garden selections, easy to grow and makes an excellent groundcover in a shady spot. Epimedium are a rare and unusual genus of flowering plants in the family Berberidaceae and are also known as barrenwort, bishop's hat, fairy wings, horny goat weed or yin yang huo.
How to grow

Keep your Epimedium happy with a regular mulch of garden compost. Cut back old foliage in late winter or early spring. Tolerates drought once established.
