Epimedium sutchuenense

Epimedium sutchuenense is a broadleaf evergreen perennial groundcover with green and red foliage. In spring purple and white flowers emerge. Grows well with bright shade and drought tolerant once established. Epimedium are a rare and unusual genus of flowering plants in the family Berberidaceae and are also known as barrenwort, bishop's hat, fairy wings, horny goat weed or yin yang huo.
How to grow

Keep your Epimedium happy with a regular mulch of garden compost. Cut back old foliage in late winter or early spring. Tolerates drought once established.
