Daylily 'Corky'
Daylily 'Corky' is the original species Hemerocallis planted in old gardens that still out perform all the modern selections for vigour and flower power. With a constant succession of bright yellow flowers all summer long, this stellar performer is a must have in any low maintenance planting scheme. Daylilies are so named for their 24 hour flowering time for each bloom, continually replaced each day with a new flower often on the same stalk.
How to grow
Full sun or dappled shade. Hardy and reliable, grows in any soil and will happily naturalise if left in situ. Remove spent flower stalks after all blooms have finished and tidy up dead foliage as it dies back in late autumn. Apply a top-dressing of flower and bulb fertiliser in spring and autumn.
