Well suited to cottage style and natural gardens, borders and beds, dry gardens and rockeries. Carthusian Pink has the same see-through quality as the popular Verbena bonariensis.
Dianthus carthusianorum was named to commemorate the monks of the Carthusian order, founded in the 11th century in the Chartreuse Valley in the French Alps.
How to grow
Drought and frost hardy. Dead head to prolong flowering. Skin allergen, wear gloves and other protective equipment when handling. Poisonous to pets.
