Cape Chestnut 'Pink'

This attractive South African flowering tree will intoxicate with its sweetly-scented flowers. From early summer, the glossy deep green foliage is smothered with fragrant spikes of sugar-pink blooms. Plant one as a dazzling specimen tree or plant en masse to create a dramatic formal avenue or windbreak. It produces dense shade from the widely-domed canopy. Often multi-trunked but easily trained to a central trunk when young. Deciduous or semi-evergreen in cool climates. Slow growth rate.
