Bergenia 'Bressingham White'
Bressingham White bergenia is an excellent choice for the front of border or garden edge. It makes an ideal bridge between sun and shaded positions, being tolerant of both. The crisp white flowers with burgundy stems provide a welcome change from the common pink form, with the bronzing of foliage in autumn and winter providing colour in all seasons. A low maintenance adaptable plant that suits a diverse range of garden styles, from formal to cottage, grow this wonderful plant for both foliage and flower.
How to grow
Best in partial to full shade, but will tolerate sun in cooler climates. A great option as a bridging plant in those tricky positions that require both shade and sun tolerance. Copes well with brief periods of dryness but prefers moist, rich soil. Remove spent flowering stems and prune off foliage damaged by heat or cold through the seasons.
