Aster ‘Coombe Fishacre’

Aster 'Coombe Fishacre' is a superb variety of New York Aster that will extend the flower border from late summer well into autumn. An abundance of lilac-pink flowers with yellow to purple-brown centres gives the garden a splash of colour when other flowers are starting to fade. An important source of nectar and pollen for bees and beneficial insects. Recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit of the Royal Horticultural Society.
How to grow

Full sun or part shade, well-drained soil. Extremely frost hardy, it can survive even severe frosts down to -20C. Tolerates salt laden, wet and dry conditions. Provide good air circulation to prevent mildew. Cut the mass of flower stems back to the ground after flowering. Deer and rabbit resistant.
