Alpine Snow Gum

Eucalyptus pauciflora subsp. niphophila

A native of the Australian high country, Alpine Snow Gum is a small, spreading, evergreen tree rarely found in cultivation. This rare subspecies makes an excellent feature tree in medium to large gardens with distinctive bark flaking attractively into cream, grey and green patches during summer. In spring and summer clusters of white to cream flowers are borne amongst the grey green foliage. Recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Alpine Snow Gum makes a magnificent feature tree in the garden where its striking bark will be a splendid feature.
