All Natural Diatomaceous Earth

Our Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is 100% pure, totally organic and safe. Use DE to control pests around your pets, livestock, plants, seeds and more! Made from the fossilised remains of microscopic shells, DE is an effective, yet completely safe, food grade pesticide which is actually beneficial to birds and animals. How does it work? PESTS: D’ works by a physical action, puncturing the insect’s exoskeleton and absorbing its body fluids, posing no harm to non-insect life. DE will repel many insect pests including lice, snails, slugs, caterpillars, flies, fleas, grasshoppers, mites, leaf-hoppers, beetles, white fly and many others. PLANTS & SOILS: Dust fruit trees or apply as a barrier on the soil surface to deter and kill garden pests. DE stimulates healthy growth of plant root systems by conditioning the soil through increased cation exchange capacity, soil conductivity and water holding capacity. DE also improves resistance to fungal attack. ANIMALS: DE is an effective insect repellent on animals, including dogs, cats and chickens. Rub lightly into their coats to repel fleas, ticks, lice and other pests. For livestock, including pigs, cattle, sheep, goats and rabbits, spread in sheds and stalls to reduce odours, pests and moisture. It can also be used as a feed supplement to improve coat and hoof condition. NOTE: While DE is totally safe for human consumption, avoid inhaling the fine dust or getting it accidentally in your eyes by using safety gear such as glasses, goggles and a mask, especially on windy days.
