Diggers Heirloom Selection Seedlings
WELCOME TO THE DIGGERS CLUB
AUSTRALIA’S LARGEST GARDENING CLUB AND THE HOME OF HEIRLOOM VEGETABLES SINCE 1978.
Diggers offers a range of heirloom seedlings through major garden centres and nurseries across Australia. A selection of some of our most popular heirlooms, selected for their ability to grow and produce successfully in home gardens, and to showcase the flavour of heirloom produce
The Diggers Club pioneered the heirloom seed movement in Australia in 1978. All these years later, we are just as passionate, if not more, about preserving heirloom vegetables for generations to come.
We understand that growing from seed can be daunting for some gardeners, so to help share the joy, flavour and colour of heirlooms with all gardeners, we have engaged specialist seedling growers from around Australia to bring our heirlooms to your door, wherever you are in Australia.
From a carefully selected range of our tastiest heirlooms, our heirloom seedlings are available through Bunnings stores, Independent Garden Centres and Seedling suppliers across Australia, to help share the joy of heirlooms with all Australians.
Available seasonally as the local area dictates, once you have tried these outstanding varieties, we are sure you’ll fall in love with heirloom vegies, just like we did, and you’ll begin to explore the enormous variety available to gardeners in Australia.
Your purchase helps Diggers to continue the valuable work of preservation, as a proportion of the sale of every seedling is donated to The Diggers Foundation, a not-for-profit trust established to preserve historic gardens, seeds and gardening traditions.

Diggers heirloom seedlings
Diggers heirloom seedlings are available through all major garden centres and nurseries across Australia.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer our seedlings as they struggle with time in the post. Our range is available at our retail sites at Heronswood, The Garden of St Erth, Cloudehill and Adelaide Botanic Gardens, otherwise you can find our seedlings at all major nurseries and garden centres across Australia.
Don't worry, each purchase still supports The Diggers Club and The Diggers Foundation to preserve heirlooms seeds for future generations.
